Empower HR Partner Program

Run Empower HR for your clients and keep the relationship.

For payroll bureaus, accounting practices, HR consultancies and staffing agencies in the Caribbean. Work inside your clients' companies in defined roles and, for clients billed through you, pay a yearly partner fee and a rate per employee, then bill them your way.

  • Payroll bureaus and accounting practicesSee every client's pay runs and filing deadlines on one board.
  • HR consultanciesKeep clients' review cycles on schedule, facilitate goal setting, and advise on talent reviews and succession.
  • Staffing and recruitment agenciesSubmit candidates and work the requisitions clients share with you.

How it works

Three steps from approval to your first client.

  1. 1

    Apply and get approved

Tell us about your firm and the lines you offer. Once you are approved, the $300 yearly partner fee is credited against what you use.

  2. 2

    Bring in your clients

Payroll bureaus can set up a new client company and invite its owner. A business already on Empower HR invites your firm and chooses the lines you work on.

  3. 3

    Work in defined roles

Assign your people to each client in a role. The client keeps its own account, its data and full rights, and can choose to be billed through you. You set your own fees.

Two ways to work with a client

Bill them yourself, or work inside their account.

Billed through you

New

For clients who want one bill, from you.

  • The client's Owner chooses to have your firm bill it
  • Its modules are switched on through your firm; it never sees our prices
  • Your people work in its company in the roles it allows
  • You pay $2 per employee a month for it, and set your own fee

Client-run

For clients with their own Empower HR plan.

  • The client invites your firm and chooses your lines
  • Your people work in defined roles inside its account
  • The client pays us directly and keeps its own plan
  • Nothing is billed to your firm

Service lines

Your people work inside the client's workspace, in defined roles.

Bureaus and agencies can ask a client's employees or candidates for missing details through the platform, logged on the engagement. Partners are never owners of a client.

Partner service lines: what your people do and never do
LineWhat your people doNever
PayrollPrepare and review pay runs; approve them when the client switches that on, never a run you prepared.Users, roles, settings or the client's billing
RecruitingSubmit candidates and work the requisitions a client shares with you; make offers when allowed.Employee records or another agency's candidates
PerformanceKeep the client's review cycles on schedule: deadlines and reminders.Rate or comment on employees; see pay
StrategyFacilitate department goals, objectives and KPIs.Read individual reviews
TalentAdvise on talent reviews and succession through named, time-limited grants.Manage pools or plans; keep access after the grant ends

Partner portal

Every client in one place.

  • See each client and who on your team is assigned to it
  • Assign a person to a client in a role, and end an assignment in one step
  • Bureaus get the Client Board with pay-run status and filing deadlines; agencies a firm-wide board of candidates and offers
  • Bureaus and agencies can ask an employee or candidate for missing details without leaving the platform

Partner sign in

Each kind of partner signs in where it does its work.

Billing Launch pricing

A yearly partner fee, then a rate per employee. No limits.

Pay for the employees in the client companies you bill, across any number of clients. Your own staff are never counted. A client billed through you has no subscription of its own with us.

Per employee

$2 per employee a month

Records, payroll and self-service. Add $1 per employee for clients with Performance or Career & Succession. Billed monthly for each employee active that month.

Same price, any mix

5 clients × 5 employees: $50 a month

1 client × 25 employees: $50 a month

Partner fee

$300 a year

Credited in full against your per-employee charges in the same year, so an active partner pays nothing extra.

Per company add-ons

20% off the direct price, a month per client: Recruiting $39.20 Business or $79.20 Premium, and Strategy and Alignment $23.20.

You set your own fees. A 25-person payroll client costs you $50 a month.

What your clients can count on

Clients keep control. You do the work.

  • The client owns its data

Records, pay history and reviews belong to the client company, not the partner.

  • The client keeps full rights

The client's own people keep their access. Your firm works in the roles the client allows.

  • Prepare and approve are separate

Whoever prepares a pay run does not approve it. Clients can require their own sign-off.

  • Change at any time

The client's Owner can stop being billed through you or end the engagement. They keep their data either way.

Questions partners ask

Do my clients need their own subscription?

Not when they choose to be billed through you: you pay $2 per employee for each company you bill, and charge the client your own fee. Clients that pay us directly keep their own plan.

Can my staff approve pay runs or make job offers?

Only when the client switches that power on for your engagement, and never for a run the same person prepared.

What happens when a client wants to manage it themselves?

Its Owner can stop being billed through you and move to its own plan, or end the engagement. If it ends, your team's access ends at once and the client keeps all its data.

Can I list my bureau for businesses to find?

Yes. Payroll bureaus can list in the Empower HR Payroll directory, where businesses using Empower HR Payroll can find you and send a request to your inbox.

Are my own staff counted?

No. You pay for the active employees of the client companies you bill. Your own staff working in those companies are never counted.
